Overview

Role: Vice President, Business Relationship Manager (Financial Crimes and Compliance) — Permanent, Hybrid

We are recruiting on behalf of a major global bank to build a high-caliber global team. The role focuses on managing client relationships, supporting IT needs for Financial Crimes and Compliance, and contributing to the bank's objectives in the commodity markets sector.

Responsibilities
  • Support IT needs of the Regional Head Quarter (RHQ) for Financial Crimes and Compliance in their transformation strategy by understanding and analyzing business requirements from Operations
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to propose solutions aligned with global, regional, and local business and IT strategy
  • Understand the application landscape and architectural direction
  • Support assigned local offices in their IT requirements
  • Ensure business units understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and governance and architecture standards
  • Assist business units in cost-benefit analyses for projects and help stakeholders prioritize projects for the investment committee
  • Support understanding of project initiation statuses, monitor progress, and help adjust investment budget allocations
  • Participate in the IT annual budgeting and planning process for assigned business units
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT or AML, KYC, sanctions compliance, and regulatory management
  • Experience driving process automation and operational efficiency using Microsoft 365 tools (Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Experience in banking operations or operation planning within the banking industry
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong ability to balance IT with business partner needs
  • Experience in business analysis; experience in system development (project manager, system architect, developer/tester) is advantageous
