The Centre for Research and Development in Learning (CRADLE) invites suitable applicants for the position of Senior Executive to manage grant administration. The Senior Executive will be a key member of the research centre, advancing CRADLE’s research goals in pedagogical innovations within a university setting. Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations of research projects and initiatives, working closely with the Centre Director and research team to ensure smooth functioning. This is a 2-year contract position with potential for extension.
Responsibilities- Handle procurement processes, including raising Purchase Requests (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), and Good Receipts (GR).
- Prepare financial documents required by funding agencies.
- Verify project reimbursement claims.
- Monitor and align expenses with NTU and funding agency guidelines.
- Ensure compliance and prevent unauthorized purchases.
- Manage invoice submissions to grant agencies.
- Coordinate with NTU Shared Services for procurement and provide RISE verification.
- Manage the Director’s calendar and take minutes.
- Manage the website and support outreach activities.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, project management, or relevant discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Adept at managing social media.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Good written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
- Flexible, adaptable, and a self-directed learner.
