Job DescriptionA role exists for a highly motivated, industry established, senior professional within the Client Services team where you will be leading the team. The team will be responsible for onboarding new clients, supporting existing clients and maintaining client relationships.
The candidate will have extensive interactions with clients and also with internal teams like sales, operations and technology on regular basis. Candidate will be responsible for management of the team, performing routine management functions such as training, performance planning, coaching and providing mentorship, as well as the development and delivery of training related to organizational requirements.
Responsibilities- Responsible for the client onboarding function for retail, institutional and corporate clients for all products.
- Oversee policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure that the organization is operating in compliance with laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines pertaining to international tax compliance (e.g. FATCA, CRS, QI).
- Drive the ongoing review of clients and our operational processes (e.g. Annual KYC, QI, SIP eligibility).
- Responding to exceptions raised by clients and liaising with internal teams to resolve issues if any.
- Communicate and educate clients and internal teams in relation to regulatory and industry changes.
- Continuous improvement of the client support model, with a straight through process focus.
- Participate and manage projects and/or introduction of new initiatives and processes to delivery.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial services, operational and client facing role.
- Significant first-hand experience on onboarding of clients and connecting with a diverse set of clients.
- Excellent people skills and calm under pressure particularly with clients.
- Knowledge of the brokerage business and basic understanding of various financial products. E.g Contract for Difference, Futures & Options, Equities, Leverage FX.
- Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, as well as common industry wide business practices.
- Strong in project planning and implementation, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge on FATCA, QI, CRS and AML requirements
- Experience in interfacing with MAS and FIDReC.
