Overview

As the Director of Placement at Harsha Institutions in Nelamangala, Karnataka, you will play a vital role in enhancing the employability of students across a wide range of academic programs. Responsibilities
  • Establish and nurture strong corporate relationships, forge industry tie-ups, and create placement opportunities for students in various courses.
  • Craft a strategic roadmap to optimize students' chances of securing internships and employment, engaging with corporate entities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive placement strategy and foster collaborations with industries for placements and internships.
  • Cultivate relationships with top recruiters and HR professionals; organize recruitment drives and career development activities.
  • Collaborate with faculty and student coordinators; oversee soft skills training and interview preparation programs.
  • Monitor placement statistics and alumni progress; represent the institution at job fairs and networking events.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree (preferably an MBA) with over 10 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
  • Successful track record in managing placements at a reputable university or institute.
  • Robust network within the HR and recruitment domain and experience engaging with companies across diverse sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
Desired skills
  • Ability to analyze market trends for strategic placement efforts.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to mentor the placement team.
  • Experience in implementing career counseling and skill development initiatives.
Reporting

You will report to the Management and Institutional Heads, contributing significantly to the institution's growth and student success.
