Forensic Psychologist

- Provide geriatric and general psychiatry services (i.e., outpatient clinics, inpatient ward management and on-call psychiatric duties).
- Provide quality care and treatment for persons with various mental health issues.
- Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and provide pharmacological treatments.
- Work within a mental health crisis call centre environment, providing crisis management (including advice, information and guidance) and onsite assessments.
- Conduct medico-legal assessment and report writing, in conjunction with forensic psychiatrists.
- Determine how an individual's mental state, pre-existing conditions and other factors affect functioning.
- Refer clients who require clinical care to our network psychiatrist.
- Schedule an initial consultation within two weeks of referral.
- Basic Medical Degree that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council.
- Recognised postgraduate qualification such as MMED (Psychiatry) or equivalent.
- Completed Psychiatry residency training or its equivalent to be accredited as Specialists by the Singapore Accreditation Board.

Requirements- Basic Medical Degree that is registrable with the Singapore Medical Council
- Recognised Postgraduate qualification such as MMED (Psychiatry) or equivalent
- Completed Psychiatry residency training or its equivalent to be accredited as Specialists by the Singapore Accreditation Board
