Overview

IT Support Technicians maintain in-house and client computer systems and networks, solving and troubleshooting IT network and infrastructure issues. This role blends technical work with customer service to help users operate relevant devices and applications.

Responsibilities
  • Analytical in solving and troubleshooting customer’s IT network and infrastructure.
  • Maintain in-house and client computer systems and networks.
  • Assist users of a network to use relevant devices and applications by answering questions; part technical work and part customer service.
  • Work under pressure with tight deadlines and fulfill tasks agreed with the customer.
  • Fulfill KPIs for performance review.
  • Familiar with common PC and application software; reloading; backup of desktop systems.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors or Directors.
  • Work independently and analyze problems before escalation or discussion with superiors or Directors.
Soft Skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, flexible and energetic team player.
  • Positive “can-do” attitude towards work.
  • Fluent in English, including writing.
Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree or other relevant qualification.
  • Around 1 year of experience in desktop support.
  • Able to install and deploy Windows 10 & 11 for laptops, workstations and desktops under tight timelines.
  • Strong communication and tech support skills.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Windows 10 & 11, and Active Directory environment.
  • Cloud administration such as Office 365 and Email control panel.
  • Experience with standard desktop imaging and packaging.
  • Strong network troubleshooting skills and understanding of networking.
