Overview Private Bank - Senior Business Functional Analyst – Capital Markets Transformation - AVP Join to apply for the Private Bank - Senior Business Functional Analyst – Capital Markets Transformation - AVP role at Deutsche Bank Details of the Division and Team The Senior Business Functional Analyst will play a key role in driving transformation initiatives across Capital Markets business lines, bridging the gap between Front Office, Dealers, Operations, Risk and Technology. The role requires capital markets product knowledge, strong business analysis skills, and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable business and functional requirements. This position will work closely with stakeholders to shape target operating models, re-engineer processes, and deliver high-impact change programs that align with client, business and regulatory objectives of the Bank. Your key responsibilities Engage with stakeholders across trading, sales, operations, risk, and IT to understand current state processes, systems and pain points. Conduct detailed analysis of business needs for initiatives across asset classes (Structured Products, FX, Equities, Fixed Income). Document and validate high quality business functional requirements. Develop process maps, business workflows, and functional specifications. Facilitate communication at cross-team level to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions. Collaborate with business, internal development team, and external vendors to deliver against agreed user requirements. Work closely with vendors to align change requirements and solutioning, and management of changes required due to production issues raised by Business. Manage the rollout and implementation of revised business processes and workflows. Coordinate demos and UAT testing to validate user requirements and verify solutions respectively. As part of UAT, you will be a key actor in test case and data preparation and training of testers. Provide clear and structured updates to stakeholders on change initiatives and lead assigned meetings. Work closely with the Capital Market Transformation Programme Manager to align on business prioritizations. Your skills and experience 7-10 years experience in business analysis within Capital Markets in transformation and change-the-bank initiatives. Experience working in large-scale programs such as platform revamps, target operating model design, and regulatory change. Strong Capital Markets knowledge, particularly in structured products, and with FinIQ knowledge Have an open mindset and respects challenging views from different stakeholders Strong analytical skills and an independent decision-maker with ability to support or defend conclusions. Team oriented, flexible, diligent, self-motivated and willing to set example to junior teammates Ability to collaborate effectively with wide range of cultures / personal styles and to establish strong partnership with infrastructure staff Ability to work under pressure and deadlines Excellent business analysis and problem solving skills. Strong stakeholder management across business, technology, operations and risk/control functions. Ability to translate complex concepts, interpret stakeholders’ needs and requirements into clear, actionable deliverables. Experience in process re-engineering and operating model design. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strategic thinker with an eye for detail. Structured organized way of working. Collaborative and proactive approach in engaging diverse stakeholders. Results-driven with strong ownership and accountability. Can-do attitude is a must.
