Job Description - AVP, Events Marketing, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group (WD77946) Job Description AVP, Events Marketing, Private Banking, Consumer Banking Group - ( WD77946 ) We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Marketing individual to join our Regional Marketing team. This role will be instrumental in planning and executing marquee, product-led, next generation, digital and other customer engagement events which will enhance the quality of the bank brand name. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a good communicator, a flair for creativity, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop comprehensive event plans aligned with the bank’s marketing and business objectives, including goals, target audience, budget, and success metrics Collaborate with the team lead and product teams (including Wealth Planning and Family Office teams) to align event themes with overall business direction Conduct research on competitor activities and industry trends to bring fresh, innovative ideas to the bank’s event marketing strategy Monitor and track all post event results and provide analysis to guide the Product teams towards insights for future events Focus on key markets including Dubai and London Execution of Marketing Events Organize end-to-end event execution including site selection, venue booking, contract management, vendor management, permits, logistics coordination, branding setup, and staffing Manage on-site event operations to ensure seamless execution, including registration, audio-visuals, signage, and client experience Handle contingency planning to address unforeseen issues such as weather, vendor delays, or last-minute cancellations Stakeholder Coordination Act as the central liaison between the Marketing team and Product teams to ensure smooth planning and execution of events Manage the internal approval process for event concepts, budgets, and promotional materials by preparing detailed briefs and obtaining timely sign-offs from relevant stakeholders Proactively communicate timelines, responsibilities, and progress updates to all internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment at every stage of the event lifecycle Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all events and associated content adhere to regulatory requirements and brand guidelines Facilitate internal post-event debriefs to share outcomes, gather feedback, and implement learnings for future initiatives Budget and resource management Customer Engagement & Lead Generation Design event experiences that strengthen relationships with existing customers and attract potential new clients Collect and analyze attendee data and feedback to inform lead nurturing campaigns and post-event follow-up Post-Event Analysis & Reporting Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from stakeholders and attendees to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement. Analyze performance metrics such as attendance rates, leads generated, customer conversions and other on-ground insights/feedback Prepare detailed post-event reports and presentations for senior management review Calendar & Timeline Management Maintain and manage an annual marketing events calendar that supports all local and overseas events Ensure each event is delivered on time and in accordance with critical deadlines, approvals, and coordination timelines Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field More than 6 years of experience in event planning, marketing, or related roles (preferably in the banking or financial services sector) Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work flexible hours and travel extensively for events #J-18808-Ljbffr
