In this role, you will be leading the insight & foresight practice for SEAA and collaborating with market, region, and global insight and foresight community as a complementary ecosystem.

  • Act as the Insight and foresight Centre of Expertise to establish and lead a Centre of Excellence, supporting business divisions with strategic planning and identifying robust business development opportunities. In this capacity, you will be:

    • Responsible for fostering a culture where data-driven insights are the cornerstone of strategic decision-making, promoting an organisational ethos that values and systematically utilises market and consumer intelligence.

    • Continually exploring advanced and practical research methodologies and technologies, particularly where limitations exist in various markets.

  • Build the think-tank network by developing a robust network of intelligence, comprising research agencies, renowned organisations, academic institutes, thought leaders, and external advisors across SEAA markets. Your role will be pivotal as the "Think Tank" for our business leaders, synthesising intelligence to guide strategic decisions.

  • Drive Market Intelligence by leading the macro and market / category studies for SEAA markets, which include, but not limited to:

    • Economic, culture, social, industry and category trends.

    • Addressable market opportunity sizing and forecast.

    • Retail landscape and competitor intelligence.

    • Collaboration with legal teams to navigate regulatory, tax, and risk landscapes.

  • Provide Brand and Consumer Insight by:

    • Harnessing the synergy of the global insight and foresight team to ensure consistent application of consumer and brand equity research methodologies.

    • Commissioning, managing, and delivering quantitative and qualitative consumer insight and brand studies based on division/market briefs.

  • Conduct analysis on event and campaign performance, media efficiency and effectiveness, and perform due diligence for potential partnerships and business development opportunities.
