Diggers is looking for an Application Support Officer for a permanent position at a client in Singapore . Fluency in English is mandatory.

THE CLIENT

The final client is the trading entity of a global energy company, with 8 trading platforms and activities in over 50 countries. It employs 1,400 people worldwide. The team you will join manages and develops trading activities for the APAC region and the LNG business globally.

The role involves improving system reliability and supporting new system development. Based in Singapore, it requires interaction with European teams and occasional business trips to Europe. As part of the Singapore IT team, the IT application support officer will contribute to team cohesion.

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS

  • Ensure system stability and continuity for services and batches in Europe and Singapore.
  • Administrate vendor-based trading platforms (Access, Order Routing, Limits, Broker connections).
  • Support users on application areas: Pre-trade, Trade Lifecycle, Post Trade/Greeks/ /Valo.
  • Share information with support and development teams in Paris & Brussels.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor the global IT platform, analyze and resolve incidents, and coordinate with Paris teams.
  • Maintain monitoring systems and suggest improvements.
  • Contribute to operational procedures and follow the FTS (Follow-the-Sun) model.
  • Support local users and gather feedback on system performance.
  • Manage problem backlogs, self-organize learning, and participate in Business Continuity Plans.

Your Skills

  • Degree in IT Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Relevant experience in IT trading environments.
  • Knowledge of trading and portfolio management processes; derivatives and commodities are a plus.
  • Behavioral skills: active listening, communication, problem-solving, initiative, resilience.
  • Technical skills: understanding of trading environments, experience with large IT systems monitoring, Windows, SQL, scripting.
  • Fluent in English.
