Overview

Regional IT Applications Support Manager role focused on the development, enhancement, and support of regional and global applications. You will oversee the complete lifecycle of application development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and provide robust support for global and regional applications.

Responsibilities
  • Lead global application rollouts and change management.
  • Collaborate with the first-level support team during global application releases.
  • Manage regional application planning, development, and support.
  • Lead digital transformation efforts to enhance Office productivity.
  • Implement and promote the adoption of digital solutions.
  • Budget management for application development and support activities, including planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
  • Vendor management for third-party vendors involved in development or support, including contracts and service level agreements.
  • Quality assurance through testing, code reviews, and performance evaluations to meet quality standards.
  • Identify and manage risks related to security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish clear communication with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide status updates, and gather feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, focusing on data security and privacy.
  • Adhere to change management processes during updates, upgrades, or migrations.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration (or related field).
  • 5–10 years of leadership experience overseeing application development and support teams.
  • Strong background in application development with experience in relevant methodologies, languages, and technologies.
  • Proven success in managing complex IT projects from planning to delivery.
  • Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and driving productivity through technology.
  • Experience building and managing high-performing teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and contracts for development and support services.
  • Ability to align technology strategy with business objectives and develop long-term IT plans.
  • Experience managing organizational change during updates and transitions.
  • Budget management and resource allocation for development and support initiatives.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, CISSP, ITIL) are advantageous.
  • Experience with low-code/no-code development platforms is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (Azure/AWS), CI/CD, and DevSecOps is advantageous.
  • Strong project management, security and compliance, business analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Interest or experience in the Education Industry is advantageous.
