As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving NCS sales, including account penetration, prospect qualification, supervision of sales activity, sales process planning, and closing all sales opportunities in the industry and/or sector you are in. You are expected to build deep and trusted business relationships with clients to seed and grow future opportunities and will be focused on developing and closing application-centric opportunities.
Beyond managing your own sales, margin, and Business Centre revenue, you will act as a trusted client advisor, coordinating the right NCS team with the relevant expertise and thought leadership to drive successful solutions for clients.
Reporting to the Sales Lead, you will work closely with different teams across NCS such as the Client Service Units, Lines of Business (LOBs) and NEXT Services to define solution offerings and value propositions to maximise NCS win probability. This is achieved by having a deep understanding of client business needs and working with CSU and across LOBs to strategise growth plans.
Responsibilities- Lead and grow your portfolio of accounts by engaging key decision makers and selling NCS Application solutions to the target customer base.
- Understand latest technology trends and client business needs; coordinate across functional teams within NCS to assemble the winning team and drive contract closure.
- Meet sales quota by identifying and winning business from new and existing clients and ensuring customer satisfaction with NCS products and services.
- Manage contract terms and conditions internally and externally.
- Build and maintain relationships at all levels with designated clients.
- Develop value propositions and negotiate to close deals.
- Develop an understanding of the organisation's products and services to coordinate pre-sales requirements.
- Drive profitable wins aligned with NCS core capabilities and growth strategy.
- Coordinate with functional teams and Lines of Businesses to strike innovative deals, provision orders, and meet customer service expectations.
- Provide a one-stop experience to customers regarding all NCS services.
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- More than 5 years of sales / pre-sales experience in ICT services or consulting, or more than 8 years of technical sales.
- Proven experience in selling application-driven opportunities.
- Knowledge of commercial arrangements.
- Application implementation experience is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of NCS operational processes.
