Overview Join to apply for the Insurance Specialist role at Manulife . This role involves a secondment to our bank partner where the successful candidate will engage directly with high-net-worth clients and relationship managers to deliver tailored insurance solutions as part of holistic wealth planning. This opportunity provides exposure to a prestigious banking environment, international client engagement, and the chance to influence wealth planning strategies at the highest level. The advisory work will be compliant with Manulife’s standards and the partner bank’s expectations. Position Responsibilities Conduct joint appointments with relationship managers to meet customers, understand their needs, and provide advice on suitable insurance solutions Support the end-to-end insurance application fulfillment process, follow up on underwriting requirements and facilitate a smooth onboarding journey Conduct subsequent reviews with clients to ensure evolving needs are met Provide regular updates, training, and engagement to private bankers on concepts of insurance as part of wealth planning, and the main attributes of products and their applications Respond promptly to insurance-related queries from relationship managers and customers Prepare client presentation material with support from the admin team Work with relationship managers and admin team to provide after-sales services to clients Attend client engagement events locally and overseas Conduct presentations at client events Ensure the advisory process is fully compliant with Manulife’s guidelines and the private bank partner requirements Requirements Degree holder with at least 10 years of related experience marketing insurance products to high-net-worth individuals, preferably within the banking industry Established track record in marketing life insurance to high-net-worth individuals Strong working and technical knowledge in high-net-worth insurance and a deep understanding of underwriting and due diligence requirements Willingness to travel Positive mindset, motivated self-starter with the tenacity to succeed Ability to establish rapport and good relationships with private bankers, clients and related stakeholders Fluency in English and Mandarin; ability to present and conduct business in Mandarin Possesses CMFAS qualifications Working Arrangement Hybrid Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Insurance Equal Opportunity Employer: Manulife/John Hancock embraces diversity and provides equal opportunities in recruitment, retention, advancement and compensation without discrimination.
