Blue Flag is a fast-growing data, software, and training company serving the automotive industry. We deliver high-value data subscriptions and reporting solutions that help Automotive OEMs and finance/leasing companies make smarter decisions.
Following strong growth in Australia, we're expanding into Asia Pacific, and we're looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to help us establish and grow our presence in the region.
About the Role
As our Business Development Manager – Asia Pacific (based in Singapore) , you'll be responsible for owning the full enterprise sales cycle, driving customer acquisition, and leading our commercial efforts across the region.
This is a critical hire — you'll be the tip of the spear in launching Blue Flag into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and close high-value B2B sales opportunities across Asia Pacific
- Navigate complex enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deals
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with senior decision-makers
- Build strong relationships with Automotive OEMs, finance, and leasing companies
- Collaborate with our product and pre-sales teams to bring value to prospects
- Report to the GM (Australia) and shape go-to-market strategies for the region
- Play a key role in establishing our presence and brand in Asia Pacific
What We're Looking For
- Proven success in enterprise B2B sales (ideally in data, SaaS, or automotive tech)
- Deep understanding of the automotive and/or mobility sectors
- Strong network across key Asia Pacific markets (e.g. SG, MY, TH, ID, KR, JP)
- Experience in cross-border sales and stakeholder management
- Skilled negotiator with a knack for closing
- Self-starter who thrives in a hybrid, high-autonomy environment
