Position Overview

The Account Director – Singapore Public Sector is a senior client-facing role, responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key government clients in Singapore. This position serves as the single point of ownership for assigned accounts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, business growth, and strategic engagement at the executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Grow Existing Business:
  • Oversee all aspects of client relationships with assigned Singapore government agencies.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing clientele.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to achieve business targets and expand service offerings.
  • Executive Engagement and Opportunity Farming: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior executives and decision-makers within government organizations.
  • Conduct regular executive-level meetings to understand client needs, challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Proactively identify and nurture new business opportunities through consultative engagement.
  • Single Point of Ownership for Accounts: Act as the primary contact and advocate for assigned government accounts, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Coordinate internally across teams to deliver solutions that meet client expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and take ownership of escalations, driving timely and effective outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 13 years experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management, business development, or client relationship roles, within the Singapore government sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore government landscape, procurement processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of growing accounts and achieving business targets.
