Director - Financial Institutions Group (FIG)

- As a Director, FIG at ANZ, you will play a crucial role in originating new deals with existing clients and onboarding new clients across focus segments in the Financial Institutions business. You will be responsible for taking primary coverage responsibility for a portfolio of clients, preparing strategy and planning, and conducting research on target segments and clients. Additionally, you will lead special projects and campaigns such as Initial Margin Transition and targeted segment campaigns. Your role will involve managing information, transaction execution, Know Your Customer (KYC) & Customer Readiness activities, and risk & compliance assurance to the highest standards. Collaboration with Research & Analysis teams for portfolio reviews and exposure to various financial products will be part of your responsibilities.To excel in this position, you should have experience working with global financial institutions, the ability to work in cross-border teams, and prior experience in managing non-financial risk. Knowledge of financial sponsors, insurance, and global capability center landscape is desirable. Strong communication skills, a thorough understanding of banking regulations, credit processes, and documentation are essential.
