
Strategic Partnership Manager, Singapore

Bytedance Global Payment team provides payment solutions including payment acquisitions, disbursements, transaction monitoring, payment method management, foreign exchange conversion, accounting, and reconciliations to ensure a smooth and secure payment experience on ByteDance platforms including TikTok.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners in the Southeast Asia region, ensuring continuous alignment and collaboration.
- Identify and evaluate potential strategic partners to enhance financial service capabilities.
- Develop and execute partnership strategies that align with the company's objectives and growth plans.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Engage associations, regulators and key authorities with country BDs and cross-team members when required.
- Monitor and analyze both payment and financial service performance metrics to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Country BDs, Solution, Product, Compliance, Finance) to integrate partner solutions and enhance processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape in global payments, especially in financial services.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and potential threats to the business.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the leadership team based on market analysis and partner feedback.
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery of strategic partnership program projects aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish clear objectives and key results (OKRs) for partnerships; track and report progress, adjusting as necessary to achieve targets.
- Create regular reporting mechanisms (e.g., weekly progress updates), identify risks, and resolve delays to ensure project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent business communication in English.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple partnerships and projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
- 5 years of experience in partnership management, business development, or strategic roles within the financial service industry.
- Experience in payment and financial services-related companies (e.g., BNPL).
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Occasional international travel.
