The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service ( ) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.

This traineeship would provide an opportunity to be part of MOE’s Recruitment Centre which is part of the HR Solutions and Capabilities Division, handling the recruitment, selection and appointment of Teachers, Allied Educators or Executive and Administrative staff (EAS) for schools and the Ministry’s Headquarters (HQ).

Overview

What You Will Be Working On
  • Assist with managing smooth and efficient operation of recruitment processes
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies and strategies to enhance the recruitment processes to better meet the Ministry’s needs
  • Support the streamlining and review of existing processes to maintain high standard of service delivery as well as to enhance applicants’ experience
  • Analyse recruitment data to facilitate recruitment and selection processes
  • Work with the marketing team, schools and other HQ divisions on recruitment activities such as career talks and job fairs to reach out to targeted applicants
What We Are Looking For
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines effectively as well as work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with handling different profiles of stakeholders
  • Prior internship experience in HR-related fields or data analytics would be an advantage.
