
Business Development Manager

Job Description:
The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving new business growth in the Company. The role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and securing new accounts. It focuses on expanding the Company through proactive efforts and building relationships with clients and businesses, as well as providing leadership to the business development team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing a partnership and channel strategy aligned with the company’s objectives; serve as the primary liaison for partners, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key partners, vendors, and channels to ensure successful collaboration.
- Providing training, support, and resources to enable partners to effectively sell and support the company’s products.
- Setting and monitoring performance metrics for partnership and channel activities, including revenue targets, market penetration, and partner satisfaction.
- Developing and managing a channel program to drive sales through partners and resellers, particularly in China, Taiwan, Japan, Malaysia, and other regions.
- Generating new business opportunities locally and internationally to fuel the sales pipeline; frequent overseas trips on short notice are expected.
- Working closely with marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of partnership initiatives and collaborating with the product development team to enhance consumer experiences.
- Representing the company at local and international industry events, conferences, and meetings with key partners.
- Consistently meeting or exceeding KPIs.
Requirements:
- Tertiary education in relevant disciplines.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership, and channel management within the technology/software industry.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to connect with international clients.
- Regional experience is preferred.
- High energy, a go-getter attitude, and positivity.
