Job Description To meet the increasing demand and needs for our existing and new UOB customers for general insurance protection, we are looking for a highly driven, focused and self‑motivated individual to join our General Insurance team to present a comprehensive range of general insurance products to our clients. Successful candidates can look forward to widening and growing their careers within the bank’s capacity and space.As a General Insurance specialist within the telesales team, you will be fully involved in introducing various insurance plans to meet the financial protection needs of UOB’s existing customers. Specific Responsibilities To actively make outbound calls to present General Insurance products (Hospital/Accident/Critical Illness) to UOB customers To proactively highlight the unique selling features of every insurance plan Understand customer’s concern and address their needs through active listening Handle customer’s objection professionally and conduct sales calls in a persuasive and engaging manner with customers to ensure closure Strong ability and confidence to cross‑sell (e.g. a 2nd insurance plan) Consistently meet and exceed sales targets set by management monthly Apply diligence and integrity in the selling process to ensure sales calls are conducted in accordance with the bank’s quality assurance standards Job Requirements Min 3 GCE O level is required Highly persuasive and comfortable with handling customer’s objections Thrive in a fast‑paced environment to consistently meet or exceed sales targets Strong ability to transition from selling one product to another with ease Willing to learn and apply new techniques to improve skillsets Must be certified with BCP and PGI Relevant insurance background is required Basic salary will be commensurate with relevant experience Candidates can look forward to high/attractive incentives with a strong sense of job satisfaction Additional Requirements Develop, Engage, Execute, StrategiseBe a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
