The Business Development Manager will report to the Senior Director and be responsible for driving business growth for Nxera Data Centre in Singapore and ASEAN, focusing on the China hyperscaler and OTT segment.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the sales team to secure deals from OTT/AI players for Asia data center requirements.
  • Engage customers across Singapore, Asia, and other regions, identifying key stakeholders and decision-makers. Develop and present tailored strategies to influence decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales, internal teams, and JV stakeholders (including Country Managers in Singapore, Johor, Batam, Thailand JV team, engineering, and commercial teams) on RFP technical solutions, BOM evaluation, and negotiations.
  • Serve as the product specialist for Nxera's Data Centres in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, providing updates on products, market landscape, and competition. This role may transition to a permanent position as the Johor DC nears completion.
  • Support the Senior Director in ad-hoc assignments.

Skills for Success:

  • 5-8 years of business development and sales experience in the Data Centre industry.
  • Experience working with large data center users in technology companies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data center design, M&E engineering, and fit-out.
  • Self-starter with strong industry connections and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for proposals, reports, and presentations.
  • Team player capable of building strong partnerships.
  • Understanding of global telecommunications and data center markets is advantageous.
