As a General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the business towards success, identifying opportunities, and driving impactful outcomes. You will also have the unique opportunity to shape guest experiences and mentor your team, leaving a lasting legacy.
Responsibilities General ManagementDrive overall operational and business performance.
Develop clear team structures with defined Areas of Responsibility (AOR) and Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) mapping.
Collaborate with the Board to establish goals with clear Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
Lead teams to achieve venue-specific OKRs.
Set and communicate clear operating standards and ensure adherence.
Align teams with the venue’s and group’s mission and values.
Maintain quality, operational, and hygiene standards.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws, food safety standards, and public/employee safety regulations.
Oversee annual planning and budgeting processes, ensuring financial targets are met.
Manage the Profit and Loss statement for the venue.
Analyze sales trends and implement cost control measures and marketing improvements.
Develop staff training and development plans tailored to business needs.
Oversee recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees.
Collaborate with the Talent Team on employee movements and performance feedback.
Implement training strategies to enhance team capabilities.
Proven experience in general management within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting and P&L management.
Exceptional organizational and operational management skills.
A passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Ability to uphold high standards while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Lead and manage daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the venue.
Monitor team performance and provide guidance to achieve operational excellence.
Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
Collaborate with team members to enhance guest experiences and address feedback.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth within the team.
