This role involves identifying sales opportunities, managing key accounts, executing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with technical teams to meet customer needs.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be working on projects in key industrial markets (ie. Oil & Gas, Marine, Pharmaceutical etc). As an individual contributor, you will be consistently engaging with key stakeholders (eg. EPC, M&E consultants, contractors etc) and will be responsible for driving business growth via both distributors and direct sales with about 50% of regional travels.

General Manager Roles

One of the many plus points about being a General Manager is the fact that you’ll be involved in the workings of the company at every level. On any given day, you might be recruiting a Customer Services Assistant, analyzing long-term trends in the market, attending a global strategy meeting with the Board of Directors and trying to decide who is responsible for cleaning the factory floors. Put simply, your presence could be needed anywhere and everywhere.

Could you be perfect General Manager material?

You’ll need to display strong qualities to be a success as a General Manager. Experience in a specific sector could be an advantage on many occasions, but if you\'ve shown yourself to be an excellent General Manager in construction, for example, you could easily switch your skills to something like leisure, transport or food.
