Overview

Gushcloud International is a global creator and IP management and licensing company powered by AI. It is present in 8 markets across Asia, USA, and UAE. We are looking for a Head of Corporate Communications to manage the internal and external communications operations of Gushcloud's global network. The successful candidate should be experienced in public relations, communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, issues and crisis management, social media, and creatives.

They will directly report to the Group CEO, with a dotted reporting line to the Chief People Officer who heads the company's Shared Services Group. Their team includes a social media manager/officer, senior/junior graphic artists and video editors, and interns. They will coordinate directly and offer assistance to country directors and unit leaders for publicity, reputation, social media, and creatives.

The candidate should ideally have experience in multicultural office environments across different time zones. Experience in entertainment companies or agencies is a plus. A basic knowledge of an initial public offering process is also desirable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Drive positive media coverage showcasing the organization's initiatives through media relations, press releases, speaking engagements, news features, and other initiatives.
  • Write and/or edit, and send to the media, official news releases on behalf of the company.
  • Regularly follow-up, monitor, and report publicity performance and growth to the Group CEO.
  • Ensure that each country's communication strategy is aligned with the global direction.
  • Protect and enhance the company's reputation and position as a global creator and IP management and licensing company powered by AI.
  • Represent Gushcloud to media outlets, online influencers, industry representatives, thought leaders, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Research for, and submit to, relevant award-giving bodies for the company's leaders and business units.
  • Regularly monitor the news for issues and crises that could impact the company.
Social Media
  • Oversee the overall direction, strategy, and growth of Gushcloud's social media channels.
  • Help manage the workflow within the team.
Creatives
  • Oversee the overall growth of Gushcloud's creative materials related to branding and campaigns.
  • Help manage the workflow within the team.
Internal Communications
  • Ensure the timely sending, and regular improvement, of the company's internal website, newsletter, and email blasts for consistency.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Communication Arts, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Business Management, or other related fields. Master's Degree is appreciated but not required.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience in the field and in handling teams.
  • A strong portfolio of brands/projects/campaigns they have worked on.
Must Haves
  • Experience in multicultural office environments across different time zones is preferred.
  • Experience in entertainment companies or agencies is a plus.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience of the influencer/content creator economy, Web3/Metaverse/NFTs, artificial intelligence, and initial public offering.
  • Experience presenting output/design to requestors and defending design principles/disciplines/choices.
  • Media network that the company can leverage during press activities.
