Job Position: GENERAL MANAGER
Salary Range: $17,000 - $20,000
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the company’s wholesale and retail operations of durians and fresh produce.
- Formulate and execute business strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Lead procurement and supplier negotiations, ensuring smooth supply chain and inventory management.
- Supervise and coach staff, set performance targets, and ensure operational efficiency across teams.
- Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and market trends to optimize pricing and margins.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore’s food safety standards, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present operational and financial reports to the Board of Directors for decision-making.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in wholesale trade, fresh produce, or F&B operations, with at least 8 years served in a senior management role.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and performance improvement.
- Proven ability to manage daily operations, drive business development, and take P&L accountability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers and customers.
- Ability to work independently, make business-critical decisions, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking suppliers and customers.
