Furthermore, Ignitec is DBE certified by the Virginia Department of SBSD.Location: 100% RemoteUS Citizen Only - No 3rd PartiesWe are currently looking for an individual with expertise in VistA/CPRS functionality, responsible for the configuration, management, and optimization of VistA and CPRS systems, overseeing all aspects of product delivery and designing solutions. This role involves establishing test plans and scripts, conducting assessments, performing data analysis, generating reports, communicating findings, and providing recommendations for design and functionality enhancements of new or modified clinical workflows. The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:- Experience with Informatics Support: A strong technical grasp and proficiency in VistA and CPRS, ideally with recent experience as a HIS/CAC or a minimum of 10 years of experience with these systems.- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of consults, clinical procedures and orders, text integration utilities (TIU), and reminder dialogs, including the ability to define functionality, explain building steps, usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting, and comprehend technical hierarchies.- Expert in Development and Implementation of Health Informatics Solutions and Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Tools: Proficiency in managing VistA packages across different clinical specialties, configuring and operating CPRS, developing test plans for specific CDS tools, and extracting/analyzing data from VistA/CPRS.- Communication and Advisory: Experience in updating and installing patches in virtual environments, coaching team members in this aspect, and providing advisory services on the informatics expertise mentioned above.,
