We offer an immersive onboarding program (FLIGHT) to equip our sales team with the knowledge and skills to guide customers through our portfolio and build a zero-trust security architecture.
Your CareerThe Strategic Account Director partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You’ll connect customers with solutions for every stage of threat prevention and lead and drive sales engagements. You will work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer.
Our sales approach emphasizes platformization and value-driven solutions. You will help customers leverage Palo Alto Networks products to transform their security posture.
Responsibilities- Drive and orchestrate large, complex sales cycles with internal partners to best serve the customer
- Apply consultative selling to identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers
- Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position the portfolio effectively
- Develop clear goals and accurate forecasting through detailed territory planning
- Use prospect stories to craft a compelling value proposition with account-specific value
- Stay informed on industry trends and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and services
- Travel within the territory and to company-wide meetings as needed
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security
- Experience selling complex solutions with value or consultative sales approaches
- Technical aptitude to understand how technology solves business problems
- Ability to identify problems, analyze data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions
- Ability to cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach
- Strong understanding of the full sales cycle and ability to follow a structured sales process
- Holistic problem-solving ability, considering complex interrelationships and outcomes
- Excellent time management with autonomy and self-direction
