On behalf of one of its clients working in the luxury F&B sector, the French Chamber of commerce is looking for an Social Media Strategist.

The hiring company is seeking a dynamic individual to collaborate across diverse teams and lead the development and execution of a comprehensive global social media strategy across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, a deep understanding of social media on both strategic and granular levels, and the ability to drive engagement on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with business objectives, KPIs, and brand guidelines.

  • Manage and oversee the company’s social media presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, WeChat, Weibo, Little Red Book, and LINE.

  • Conduct in-depth research on industry trends and audience preferences, particularly in the luxury sector, to propose and implement innovative features that enhance brand awareness and engagement.

  • Collaborate with PR and Content teams to create, edit, publish, and share compelling content in line with the global brand and marketing strategy.

  • Optimize SEO, web traffic, and engagement metrics across all social media platforms.

  • Analyze social media performance and provide monthly reports on ROI and key metrics.

  • Engage with followers and customers, addressing inquiries promptly while monitoring feedback and reviews.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all HQ and partner social media accounts.

  • Support new market expansions by offering digital insights and contributing to strategic planning and onboarding.

  • Act as an advisor to franchise partners, offering guidance on optimizing their local social media campaigns.


Requirements• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a strategic social media and/or digital marketing strategist role.

• Knowledge of social media metrics, SEO, and other social media tools to track and measure success.

• Addicted to social media and genuinely excited by digital technologies.

• Experience dealing with local and international markets and customers.

• Fluent in English and possess strong copywriting skills.

• Proficiency with editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Presentation skills and previous experience in the luxury industry would be a plus.

• Good knowledge of search and social media advertising, programmatic advertising and content

conceptualisation and production would be an advantage.
