Responsibilities
We're looking for a proactive Regional HR Manager to oversee a team, lead multiple HR functions across the APAC region, and spearhead the planning and implementation of regional HR strategies.
- Oversee the regional HR team and manage HR functions across the APAC region;
- Liaise closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance and efficiency across HR functions;
- Ensure consistent application of compensation and benefits policies throughout the region;
- Work closely with stakeholders in HQ, standardising job grades, and salary benchmarks;
- Manage employee relocations and compensation packages for staff transferring within or into the region;
- Ensure adherence to local labour laws and regulations, considering legal risks;
- Lead data compliance efforts with relevant teams, ensuring alignment across different countries;
- Oversee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures;
- Work closely with internal teams to boost employee engagement and satisfaction;
- Provide necessary information for annual budgeting and forecasting activities;
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies that support organisational goals and promote an encouraging and supportive work culture;
- Oversee learning and development programs and initiatives in the region;
- Spearhead reporting to senior stakeholders;
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on recruitment strategies;
- Promote and develop company culture through various channels.
- Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or any other relevant field of study;
- At least 8 years of relevant experience;
- Excellent understanding of local and regional employment regulations and best practices;
- Proactive with good problem solving skills;
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team, as well as ability work effectively independently;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent work environment with a supportive culture;
- Occasional regional travel required;
