We are hiring a Regional Learning Specialist to support our organization in the Asia-Pacific region .

As a Regional Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, localizing, and implementing learning solutions within specific geographic regions. The Regional Learning Specialist will work within the Talent Development Team and with key internal HR and business stakeholders to determine regional learning and development needs and deliver solutions that drive performance and continually improve talent capabilities. Leveraging in-house content and process expertise, this role localizes and adapts learning and leadership development programs for the Asia-Pacific region (APO).

In this Role

You will manage the Learning and Development Program Delivery of IDEXX learning programs and products across the APO region to ensure the engagement of learners and achievement of intended learning outcomes

You will collaborate and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and act as a learning business partner to them, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and mobilizing appropriate internal and/or external resources to support the delivery of learning plans.

You will analyze the Learning Needs and conduct comprehensive assessments to identify learning and development needs within the region, aligning them with operational and logistical requirements within Talent Development and the business.

You will support Learning Program Development through collaboration with internal stakeholders (Program Managers, Operations, and Technology) to adapt, implement, and evaluate effective learning programs that integrate seamlessly with operational processes and logistical considerations. Includes sourcing relevant local content and high-quality learning resources by identifying and partnering with global or regional vendors.

You will support content localization efforts, adapting content to regional language requirements and cultural norms, sourcing and promoting content, and assisting in audience-targeted customization.

You will provide logistical support for learning events, ensuring that venues, materials, and resources are effectively coordinated to meet operational requirements.

You will monitor Industry trends and stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development, as well as operational and logistical support, to ensure training programs remain current and relevant.

What You Need to Succeed

You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.

You have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience working across a multi-national company with work specifically conducted in the Asia Pacific region and with non-native English speakers.

You have relevant experience in coordinating, facilitating, and delivering learning programs across multiple time zones, with a strong understanding of operational and logistical considerations.

You are a strong communicator who can navigate a complex and matrixed organization and can collaborate effectively across diverse teams.

You are fluent in English and proficient in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.

You are familiar with learning platforms, training technologies, and operational systems.

You are a great relationship builder who can truly partner with the business by understanding the business and helping them understand their needs in the field of learning development.

You are a team player, recognizing that success comes from combined achievement and collaborative partnership rather than standalone ways of working.

You are comfortable working with ambiguity from time to time and working in a fast-paced project environment.

Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed.

You can deal with changing priorities and challenges and flex your approach accordingly.

You have emotional intelligence, humility, willingness to learn, and take and receive feedback constructively.

You have high ethical standards and a positive attitude.
