Role Overview:

As a Regional Cybersecurity Specialist, you will specialize in our solutions for various Cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Google, AliCloud, and more. You will be the go-to person for partners/customers interactions related to the assigned solution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D teams to share field feedback and advocate for new technical requirements.
  • Elevate issues internally to CSE, product management, and engineering teams for feature requests.
  • Offer consultation and best practice advice during pre-sales activities for key opportunities.
  • Lead solution-focused virtual communities, facilitate knowledge transfer, and provide technical mentoring.
  • Conduct demonstrations, proofs of value, and proofs of concept to showcase our security offerings in Cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Cultivate relationships with Cloud-focused partners to attract new top-tier customers.
  • Present Fortinet's security solutions convincingly to customers, from technicians to CIOs, emphasizing expertise in Cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or AliCloud.
  • Engage with customers on strategic deals, formulate technical win strategies, and participate in RFP/RFI processes.
  • Initiate discussions on industry trends and security landscape changes relevant to Cloud data migration.
  • Address competitive offerings in the market and position our solutions as the preferred choice.
  • Participate in marketing events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Engage with customers locally and remotely in a compelling manner.
  • Create technical materials and SE tools to accelerate deal closures and drive sales pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of AWS, Azure, VMWare, Openstack, Openshift, AliCloud, and other security technologies.
  • Expertise in CI/CD, CNAPP, CSPN, CWPP, and CIEM.
  • Demonstrated experience in securing Cloud environments.
  • BSCS or equivalent degree with 8+ years of experience in cloud/security roles.
  • Preferred certifications like CCNP, CISSP, FCNSP NSE, AWS CSA, or MCSE.
  • Knowledge of Web Application Security.
  • Familiarity with SDN and virtualization solutions such as VMWare NSX-T and KVM.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows systems, and scripting languages like Python.
  • Understanding of automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef.
  • Proven experience in cloud installation, configuration, and network security administration.
  • Expertise in L2-L4 Networking, Network Security, Virtualization, and Cloud Computing.
  • Experience in selling, demonstrating, installing, and troubleshooting network security products.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and setting up demos in complex Cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently and willingness to learn.
  • Flexible to travel frequently across the region.
  • Preferred vendor collaboration experience.
