The International PreSchool Principal will be responsible for leading the team in the execution of professional duties and responsibilities of developing the curriculum of the pre-school, management of the school in terms of enrolment, operations and relationship management with parents. This position will require frequent travel / be based overseas.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Together with the curriculum team, provide leadership to teachers in quality early childhood curriculum design, development and implementation of MindChamps’ unique “Inquire based” pedagogy.Coach and support teachers to monitor, assess, document and maintain evaluation and assessment of children’s learning and developmentDevelop strategies to market and maintain the school’s enrolment to maximise the school capacityManage cost control in all aspects of school operationsSelect, coach and mentor teachers to maximise their professional relationship with parents, harmonious working relations with colleagues and teaching performance for the growth of Early Years children under their careWork with curriculum team to continuously train and coach teachers in their professional developmentMaintain Early Years Children’ records and teacher to student ratio as requiredMaintain the school physical condition and maximise the facilities to enhance their learning environmentEstablish and maintain positive and effective communication with parents and the school community

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Care and / or Education from a recognised University with at least 5 years of work experience of managing a preschoolPrior experience in leading, developing and/or teaching an inquiry based early childhood curriculumHigh EQ, matured, exemplary leadership and management skills are essentialExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWell spoken English Language preferably as 1st languageInternational experience, especially in Asia, gained in an International school setting or in local schools based overseas, is highly valuedDemonstrated proficiency in international and cross-cultural settingsWillingness to travel and be based overseas at short notice
