Team Introduction

High ethical standards and a culture of integrity will play a pivotal role in achieving the vision of the Ethics Office. The Ethics Office was created to guide ethical leadership and decision making; develop, educate, and raise awareness on internal policies; and lead and manage investigations. We are looking for an individual with a legal, ethics, or compliance background for the Ethics Office's APAC region. The new hire will drive programs that will lay the foundation for new ways of working: including policy creation, training programs & our code of conduct. Responsibilities- Drive and design a robust governance framework and continually optimise in line with best industry standards and regulatory benchmark in regards to Ethics and Compliance risks;- Drive continuous improvement on current policies, keeping abreast of the latest development in the APAC jurisdiction and working closely with the Head of Ethics alongside global cross-collaboration teams to amend policies and drive training and raise awareness through multi-level channels;- Be the lead in the identification and delivery of Ethics projects/continuous improvement initiatives to improve the policy framework, increase knowledge within the firm and expand Ethics & Compliance capability within the teamParticipate in the development and delivery of training, evaluate effectiveness and knowledge retention, and assess employee perceptions of TikTok's ethical culture;- Drive employee awareness and engagement on ethics and integrity agenda, including education on Code of Conduct and other related Ethics policies;- Evaluate effectiveness and knowledge retention, and assess employee perceptions on ethical culture.

Minimum Qualification: - Bachelor's Degree, minimum 5 years of working experience with solid and traceable experience in ethics or compliance (preferably working with a technology business);- Excellent Project Management skills, with the ability to manage various stakeholders/programs concurrently;- Ability to properly, efficiently, and effectively handle allegation review and investigations; Preferred Qualification: - Strong communicator/influencer with ability to work cross functionally and internationally;- High learning agility and able to formulate adequate solutions in complex situations;- Must be hands-on with a bias for action and be flexible to meet the needs of our rapidly growing company. #LI-GY2
