JOB DESCRIPTION As the Global Sea Logistics Yield & Allocation Manager at Kuehne+Nagel, this role involves optimizing and managing the global sea freight network to ensure efficient allocation of resources and maximized profitability.

Your Role

You will on developing strategies to balance supply and demand, negotiate with carriers, and analyze market trends to improve yield management. Your focus is on enhancing operational efficiency, driving cost savings, and delivering exceptional service to our clients while navigating the complexities of global logistics.

Your Responsibilities

To lead the Asia/Europe allocation +yield management team tasked with managing and
executing allocation agreements with allcarriers on the trade. To direct and optimize the Asia/Europeallocation + yield management team to execute against
the core goals of the Sea LogisticsRoadmap, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness
for our customers. To manage yield maximization by providingguidance, monitoring performance and supporting
respective Trade Managements in thesteering of the business. To manage escalations between countries,trade management and carriers to resolve internal
and external issues through permanentprocess improvements.
Job Responsibilities: To ensure that allocation agreements aremaintained in the respective allocation tools,
monitoring delivery of volumes againstallocations in line with agreed conditions. To recommend + drive corrective actionwith countries, sales and Trade Management as
required to limit any exposure relating topenalties or allocation reductions. To actively propose allocation models forall trades to maximize opportunity and conditions
while monitoring and reporting on capacitydevelopments, blank sailings and utilization. To review carrier performance on carrierdelivery of allocations and align with the respective
Trade Manager on any corrective actionsrequired, ensuring the best possible steering of cargo
across carries for each trade to maximizeallocations. To review and recommend any changes toallocation distribution based on customer and/or
country yield. To manage strict adherence to Block Spaceagreements to ensure avoidance of dead freight
penalties and issue corrective instructionswhere needed; informing senior management of
performance and risk dead freight riskexposure promptly. Together with the respective TradeManager develop + deliver strategies to increase volumes
with Asian carriers for a long termstrategic development, providing focus on utilization of Asian
carriers ensuring delivery of commitmentson both sides, proposing cargo flows adjustments as
appropriate to support Asian Carrierdevelopment. Work in alignment with the company’sbusiness strategy and objectives, plus any other tasks
assigned by the superior.

Your Skills and Experiences

Extensive experience in sea freight management and yield optimization, with a managerial background. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; proficiency in logistics software and data analysis tools. Deep understanding of the global sea freight market and industry trends. Proven leadership and team management abilities.
