Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Principal IT Lifecycle Management Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As the Principal IT Lifecycle Management Manager, you will drive the delivery of world-class cloud services across your region, interact and maintain relationships with various stakeholders and partners. You will focus on managing the entire IT lifecycle for the region, from initial deployment to decommissioning, and the related activities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, security, and environmental responsibility. Excellent interpersonal awareness, ability to navigate ambiguity, and your mature communication skills will be pivotal in bringing your program management, technical abilities, and leadership experiences to a whole new level in supporting Microsoft’s success

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experiences 5+ years’ experience supporting 24x7x365 Data Center Operations or Operations teams in other industries. 5+ years’ experience in leading and influencing a diverse organization of full-time employees across multiple disciplines, platforms, cultures, and countries.Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of datacenter infrastructures (e.g. network, security, computing architecture, logistics, inventory management, critical electrical and mechanical systems, vendor support services). Supply chain, procurement, vendor management and fiscal planning background and experience. Awareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles. (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.).Background Check Requirements:
The ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Collaborate, communicate, present, and negotiate effectively across groups of various levels and disciplines, such as senior Microsoft leaders, suppliers, partners, technicians, etc. Management and oversight of vendor/partner contracts and relationships including Fleet Management, IT service providers, and partner support teams. Collaborate with global and regional management teams and contribute to improvement programs. Lead projects and programs related to continuous improvements including business case development.
