Wachsman is seeking a Director for immediate hire at its Asia Headquarters in Singapore, reporting directly to the Managing Director. 

The following is expected of the right candidate:

Leadership
• Acts as an effective leader and role model across the business, seeking to inspire and motivate teams.
• Embodies progressive people development, restless thinking, valuing both strategic and creative thinking and supporting knowledge sharing.
• Acts as a role model for change and new direction, creating understanding and confidence in our offer across the business.
• Acts as an ambassador internally and externally for our differentiated positioning.
• Is an experienced expert able to draw deep personal experience/expertise to set direction for clients and teams.

Growth
• Provides organic and new business growth and drives lead generation through active networking.
• Leads new business pitches and develops winning approaches drawing on experts and experience from across the consultancy.
• Understands how to assemble and lead an integrated/blended team to avoid silo responses.

Networking
• Proactively looks for opportunities to network and sell the consultancy’s integrated offer.
• Proactively develops new ways to take our offer into the market and supports teams to do likewise.
• Builds relationships with relevant intermediaries e.g. banks, law firms and key media to enhance the consultancy’s reputation.
• Participates in industry events and acts as an ambassador for the Wachsman brand.

Business development
• Builds the consultancy’s reputation, confidently representing and selling all aspects of our offer.
• Introduces existing clients and new contacts to a wide range of expertise drawing on colleagues from across the consultancy.
• Seeks opportunities to develop new approaches and IP.
• Creates an environment where teams are encouraged to try new things.

Trusted senior adviser
• Is a trusted adviser to C-suite level.
• Builds strong, long-term relationships and is recommended by clients to others within their organisation and outside.
• Has a proven track record for retaining and growing clients.
• Is able to align reputation strategy into business strategy and advice on high stakes moments, integrating reputation into risk decision making and reporting.

Strategic insight and knowledge share
• Provides new thinking/strategic insight to clients and across the consultancy.
• Acts as the epitome of knowledge creation and sharing.
• Supports and encourages active use of the Ecosystem.
• Ensures projects are summarised to share expertise and new innovations/IP.
• Proactively ensures critical assets (e.g. proposals and outputs) are readily available to enhance speed and quality of new work.

Retention/attraction of talent
