We are currently looking for a Senior Partnership Strategist in Asia to help Economist Impact win proposals that make a positive impact in the world and align with our mission of progress specifically in the categories of Sustainability, Global Health and New Globalisation. The role reports into Economist Impact’s Head of Partnership Strategy and Development.

Accountabilities

How you will contribute:

Partner with sales to develop proactive and reactive strategies to engage and develop clients.  Be able to understand and interrogate a client brief to pull forward critical information to inform the development of a proposal. Lead end-to-end proposal development, using insights to craft solutions that deliver impact. Lead Qualitative Insight Discovery for your proposals and the PSD team as needed. Manage Audience Insights  Direct brainstorms, contributing strategy and creativity to pull the best ideas forward. Be a creative thinker. Generate and develop creative ideas that will appeal to a client’s target audience and connect to a client’s brand story in a compelling way. Partner with analysts, content creators, event producers, digital strategists, media strategists, and social media specialists to understand and utilise the full suite of Impact capabilities Understand and guide the investment; matching client objectives with value while ensuring profitability by aligning costs and budgets. Own the proposal document: outlining the structure, writing copy, selecting images, designing timelines, etc. based on contributions from teams across the business.  Track working proposals, using evolving/revising programs to address client feedback. Participate in client meetings and pitches as needed. Join milestone meetings for programs in the execution phase to ensure strategy is fully realised and help identify opportunities for growing partnerships by being actively engaged.

Creative ideation, exceptional writing skills, storytelling and ability to connect the dots from insights to potential outcomes Experience developing content recommendations and programs for clients that span paid, owned and earned platforms.  The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment developing multiple proposals each week An understanding of the content marketing landscape and areas of opportunity for the business Experience with thought leadership brands Creative, analytic and strategic thinking Effectiveness as a team member and at relationship building and collaboration Strong knowledge of digital marketing and content formats Excellent proposal/presentation development skills (Google Slides or Powerpoint) Have a design sensibility and be able to envision how content can be presented beyond written formats Be intellectually curious; demonstrated interest in driving impact in the world through thought leadership
