We are currently recruiting for a Sales Representative to join our Sales team. You will be responsible for identifying, contacting and developing new customer relationships in the area of your responsibility, effectively coordinating pricing and service strategy in line with Stolt-Nielsen’s regional and global strategy.

Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 50,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. What you will be doing

As a Sales Representative, you will ensure all quotes for South East Asia are created and presented to the customer in a professional and timely manner and followed up to ensure maximum success. You will also ensure Code of Business Conduct is fully met and demonstrates a commitment to Stolt-Nielsen’s SSHE&Q Management System.

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Marketing

Identifies, contacts, nurtures and expands customer relationships within your area of responsibility. Develops, reviews, maintains and executes account plans for selected key STC customers. Ensures all quotes are compiled using the most updated costs and market related charges and assists the GM, Regional Sales Manager, in compiling quotes as/when required for tenders and other large bids. Recognizes the value of timely customer service. Utilizes in-house management tools such as B2B, BI Tool, so as to improve rates/margins, where possible. Liaises with overseas offices to seek/provide costs to update quotes. Assists in the collection of all related accounts receivable. Always project a professional image in the market place and participates fully in Stolt-Nielsen’s strategy of supplying total logistics services to our customer.

Marketing And Customer Visits

To accompany Regional Sales Manager, General Manager, on customer visits within South East Asia as and when required. Plans and maintains customer visits program within South East Asia /area of responsibility. Focuses on building and cementing the relationship you have with your customers. Always projects a professional image in the market place and participates fully in the Stolt-Nielsen strategy of supplying total logistics services to our customers.

Quality

To ensure that all SHEQ requirements are fully met in all aspects of this business. To continually monitor and where necessary, improve on the procedures to achieve this. Embrace STC’s Quality Excellence program and actively participate in Process Review teams. Fully comply with Stolt-Nielsen’s Anti-Trust policy. Support and endorse the Company’s platform system procedures to ensure global consistency data.

Reporting And Forecasting

Monitors and shortfall in shipments or loss of regular business due to pricing and provides updates to General Manager or Regional Sales Manager. Issues monthly sales status report. Monitors customer’s allocation of business and updates the MSR (Market Share Report) as and when needed. Embraces STC’s Optimization tools ensuring all shipment forecasts are updated in a timely manner and strives to meet all forecast accuracy ad targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree preferred. Fluent in English and Mandarin. Minimum 5 years experience in tank container industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethical, organized and team player capable of contributing to our sales and margin targets. Good computer skills.
