Compliance Executive

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Compliance Executive to provide temporary coverage for a 6-month maternity leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company adheres to legal standards and in-house policies, promoting ethical behavior, and minimizing risk. This role will involve collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance and mitigate potential issues.
Key Responsibilities
Support the annual Compliance Risk Assessment to satisfy minimum internal and external regulatory requirements. Support compliance oversight that risks within the Compliance Risk Universe are appropriately identified and managed. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide advisory on Trade Sanctions, AML and other compliance topics to business management. Assist in the implementation of compliance training programs for employees. Assist in the preparation of compliance reports and presentations for senior management and regulators where required. Participate in internal audits and investigations as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance activities and initiatives. Project Management - Support functional projects within the defined scope and time frame. Support the completion of functional projects and the project deliverables to required level of quality. Methodology and Reporting - Support the development of meaningful reports both for internal Compliance insights and second-line knowledge. Maintain current information in assigned reports.Qualifications /Skills Required:
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance principles Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Previous experience in compliance or a related field is preferred but not required. You are the heart & soul of Zurich
