Senior Executive, Student Talent Attraction

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, ranked among the world’s top universities, has 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students in engineering, business, science, humanities, arts, social sciences, education and medicine. As part of the University’s Student Talent Attraction and Development (STAND) Committee, the incumbent will support the Deputy Associate Provost (Strategy) and Deputy Associate Provost (Student Life) to spearhead various talent attraction and development initiatives for undergraduate students.
You will play a key support role in supporting the STAND Committee to develop strategy and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement initiatives for undergraduate students to lead talent-related projects, develop leadership skills, and explore intellectual boundaries through interdisciplinary collaborations with fellow students and scholars.
Responsibilities:
Student Talent Development Programmes:
Provide support to effectively manage talent development programmes aimed at developing undergraduate student talents within NTUCollaborate with colleges, schools, offices and vendors to assist in designing and delivering training sessions and workshopsAssist in monitoring the effectiveness of talent development programmesTalent Scholarship Application:
Provide support to develop marketing and promotional materials and manage scholarship initiativesMaintain ongoing relationships with domain experts/ interview panellists and scholarship recipients, and provide support during application process and throughout the recipient’s educational journeyMaintain accurate records of scholarship recipients and program impactStakeholder Engagement:
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, colleges, schools and department heads, to ensure alignment of initiatives with organizational goalsCollaborate with external partners, such as educational institutions, industry experts, and sponsors, to leverage on their expertise and support for initiativesRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in disciplines such as Business Administration, Humanities, Communications etcPossess at least 2 years of working experience supporting or managing initiatives such as leadership/ talent programs, scholarships or symposiumsStrong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levelsProficient in using software, including MS Office applicationsAbility to work independently, as well as in cross-functional teamsHiring Institution: NTU-
