Senior Assistant Director, Talent Attraction

As the key personnel driving the Talent Acquisition initiatives, you will be responsible for attracting the best talent to support the University’s strategic goals. You will build a strong employer brand, transform recruiting from an as-needed function to a proactive hiring function, create talent/candidate pipelines for future staffing needs and recruit diverse employees who have the agility to grow beyond their roles
Key responsibilities:
Design and implement a sustainable talent acquisition strategy to attract top talents to support the University’s goals. Partner with the broader HR team and key stakeholders to understand, refine and communicate a compelling vision for talent acquisition at the University, set concrete initiatives and metrics to realize it.Enhance and deepen existing recruitment channels and platform to build pipelines for high-volume recruitment. This includes:Planning for campus recruitment fairs and online career fairsManaging all tenders and procurement processes related to recruitment channels (e.g. appointment of recruitment agencies panel, career fair vendor, job posting packages etc).Manage all recruitment-related policies and procedures:Review and update policies & procedures related to Talent Acquisition to ensure that these remain relevant to the University’s needsCreate and implement processes, tools and training to enable HR and Hiring Managers to better define positions, screening and interviewing candidates, and making quality hiring decisions.Design, plan and execute employer branding activities to develop our reputation as an Employer of Choice. This would require you to work closely with the relevant departments to curate content and feature jobs and/or human stories through career portals to profile the diversity of roles within the UniversityRequirements
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related disciplineAt least 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a HR business partnering and/or talent acquisitionProficient at using software and leveraging technology for talent acquisition processesStrong ability to leverage knowledge and network to build the University's potentialPossess critical thinking abilities and proven track records of implementing talent acquisition strategies in a highly dynamic organizationSkilled at negotiation and execution of recruitment processs Excellent at both verbal and written communicationStrong networking and relationship-building skillsAbility to work under pressure and deliver tasks assigned within tight timelinesHiring Institution: NTU-
