Our team in Singapore currently has an opening for a Manager / Assistant Manager, Data Excellence APAC Brenntag Specialties
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is a newly formed role in Brenntag Specialties (BSP) business. BSP leadership places a huge importance in making sure we protect Brenntag’s key asset – data. You will be entrusted to drive data quality, trust and usage of data for the APAC region specifically for BSP business. In addition, you will be tasked to lead a Data Domain (Business Partner, Products, Finance and/or others) at a global level.
Your roleis responsible for:
Executing global strategy together with BSP Global Business Units as defined by BSP Data Excellence group. Implementing and operationalising data strategy in APAC by leading a team of data professionals Aligning with local markets/functionalities when rolling out platforms and systems (CRM and others) prioritizing BSP’s needs in projects Co-ordinating data initiatives to deliver the most value for BSP. Working with technology domain to produce policies, processes. procedures for governing our data across functions so that data is available when and where needed Highlighting issues and roadblocks and work to address them collaboratively with other divisions Executing assignment process of BSP materials toGlobal products and implementing monitoring processes to ensure consistency andaccuracy of assignments.
YOUR PROFILE
8-10 years of professional experience in data related functions (data analytics, master data management, commercial analysis and others) Affinity and hands on experience with data technologies (Data Intelligence, Business Intelligence, Data Catalogue, Data Wrangling, MDM tools, Data Science tools and others) and ERP systems Experience managing and building a team Experience in the Consulting industry an advantage Excellent communication skill (Written and Spoken) in English is a must (proficiencies in other languages an advantage) Proven track record in creating Commercial and Business impacts.-
