Customer Order Management Specialist

DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our team specializing in order life cycle management for our Customer Order Management department in Singapore, Tuas South Avenue .
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
End-to-End Order Management: Oversee the complete order life cycle for designated customer accounts, ensuring every stage from order receipt to delivery meets established timelines and quality standards.
Customer Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries related to order processing, scheduling, and shipping. Provide timely and accurate information to address customer queries effectively.
Order Processing and Documentation: Execute various order management tasks including order entry, modifications, invoicing, and managing credits or debits as necessary. Maintain accurate logistics documentation to support seamless order fulfillment.
Consultative Support: Offer advisory support to customers on product availability, lead times, and minor technical issues. Make recommendations and provide guidance to ensure customer needs are met efficiently.
Escalation Handling: Manage escalated issues and inquiries from customers, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-through to achieve customer satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Comprehensive Understanding: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the end-to-end order life cycle and how different functional areas collaborate to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Proactive Customer Support: Proven track record in delivering proactive customer support throughout the order processing phases, anticipating customer needs and providing timely solutions.
Order Management Systems: Proficiency in using order processing systems (, SAP) to manage customer orders, process modifications, and respond promptly to customer queries with accuracy.
Results-Driven: Exhibit a strong drive to achieve results, consistently meeting performance goals and maintaining a customer-centric approach in all interactions.
Effective Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders. Ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
Licensing may be required for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
0-2 years of experience in customer order management, customer-facing roles, supply chain/logistics, with preference for international trade experience.
Experience as a Customer Service Specialist or similar customer service role is beneficial.
Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
Enjoys working with people and providing excellent customer service.
Proactive, systematic approach with strong follow-through.
Familiarity with SAP system is a plus for this role.
