AVP/Senior Associate, Institutional Banking Business Finance, Group Finance

Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions – whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory (ATO) for the Singapore Qualification Programme by the Singapore Accountancy Commission and an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) Approved Employer.
Key Responsibilities
To be accountable for the month-end close for SG Global Transaction Services (GTS) products, review the SG/ regional GTS financial performance (P&L, BS, cost and non-financial) and forming objective insights
To oversee/ support weekly regional GTS balance sheet reporting
Conduct deep dives and insightful financial analytics to highlight focus areas especially in P&L, balance sheet and cost
To partner with business, to simulate and plan for quarterly forecasts and annual budgetTo partner and provide business finance support for new projects and initiatives , system enhancement, and Managing through Journeys (MtJ)
Facilitating business and internal finance ad-hoc requests
Creating scalability and efficiency through streamlining and automating reporting processes
Participate in team initiatives including digitization, reduction of manual processes to create a more efficient workflow
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Business, Finance or any related discipline is preferred.
Min 8 years post qualification experience preferably in Business Finance or MIS reporting in international/local banks.
Experience in Global Transaction Services Products are preferred.
Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
