AVP / Senior Associate, Project Finance, Institutional Banking Group

Job Summary
DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join its Project Finance team in the Institutional Banking Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the origination and execution of Project Finance transactions, with a focus on financial modeling and credit analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models in Excel to support transaction origination and execution.
- Prepare credit applications and assist in the internal credit process to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
- Review loan documentation and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal and corporate credit groups, as required.
- Support the team in pitching for transactions by preparing pitch books, presentation materials, and other relevant documents.
- Conduct due diligence activities, including selecting independent consultants, preparing scope of work, and reviewing due diligence reports.
- Monitor and manage the portfolio of transactions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and regulatory developments in key markets, providing insights to the team.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree with 4 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in structured finance transactions, particularly in project finance and investment banking, is highly desirable.
- Strong credit and financial analytical skills, with experience in industry research and data analysis.
- Excellent Excel skills and aptitude for number crunching, with experience in developing detailed cash flow models.
