Job Description

As a Business Development Manager focusing on the Asia Pacific region, the primary responsibility of the role will be to drive business growth, foster client relationships, and expand market presence. Leveraging their experience in the video surveillance or casino equipment manufacturing industry, the candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and implementing initiatives to achieve sales targets and enhance the company's market share in the Asia Pacific region.

Duties and Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities

Market Analysis

Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the casino equipment industry within the Asia Pacific region. Analyse competitors and market dynamics to develop product positioning and differentiation strategies.

Business Strategy:

Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's objectives. Identify and prioritise target markets and segments within the Asia Pacific region.

Client Relationship Management:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with existing clients to understand their evolving needs and provide solutions that align with the company's offers.

Sales and Revenue Growth:

Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals. Identify new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close client deals.

Product Knowledge and Training:

Stay updated with the latest video surveillance technology developments and deeply understand the company's product offerings relevant to the targeted segment. Provide training and support to partners, ensuring they are knowledgeable about the products and services.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies. Provide feedback from the market to assist in product enhancements and innovations.

Compliance and Regulations:

Stay current with regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Asia Pacific region. Ensure the company's products and operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations.

Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports detailing sales performance, market trends, and progress against targets. Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve overall business performance.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development and sales within the casino equipment manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of the Asia Pacific market, particularly in video surveillance for the casino and gaming industry. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to travel frequently within the Asia Pacific region. Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages relevant to the region is advantageous.
