Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
This is a unique opportunity to join the Commercial Evaluation team for the Consumer business. The primary goal is to drive profitable business decisions via commercial insights, with a focus on supporting Marketing department activities and new partnership projects. Your expertise in market analysis, revenue management and strategic thinking will be instrumental in shaping our business decisions and ensuring the continued growth of our consumer-focused initiatives. You will need to be proficient in use of Excel. Prior experience in Tableau or Thoughtspot is advantageous.
Job Responsibilities
1) Financial Evaluation & Analytics:
a)Assess the financial viability of potential consumer business opportunities, including cost analysis, revenue projections and ROI calculations.
b)Perform financial modelling, P&L and cashflow calculations, product economics analysis, scenario planning for new initiatives and investments.
c)Assess efficacy of machine learning models and digital marketing campaigns.
d)Provide commercial and business decisions recommendations with a balanced view on sales, products and services, risk management, operations, the regulatory environment, and industry trends.
e)Review business cases for sales and marketing on products and services.
f)Provide key analytics support in supporting business decision making.
2) Business & Project Management:
a)Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for business planning of new investments/initiatives/projects.
b)Conduct due diligence with project stakeholders and work towards project launch and approval by C-suites or Keppel Board of Directors.
c)Review and negotiate legal contracts from a commercial standpoint.
3) Market Analysis:
a)Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and product/service development.
b)Experience with Tableau, Thoughtspot, SAP will be helpful.
4) Commercial representative
a)Be the department representative for liaison with/on Enterprise Risk Management, Data Governance and PDPA; training will be provided.
To excel in this role, you’ll need to be numerate, analytical and detail focused with strong commercial acumen and an ability to understand, critically evaluate, and communicate key business value drivers. You must also have strong communication, self-awareness, and interpersonal skills as well as a customer-centric approach towards stakeholder engagement.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing or related fields. 5 years of experience in financial evaluation/ pricing & revenue management/ business planning/ corporate finance. Good business acumen. Excellent analytical skills in areas of financial analysis, pricing, commercial analysis, and business intelligence. A problem solver who is proactive in attitude. Strong Excel skill mandatory. Excellent communication skills & ability to interface at all levels within the organization. Ability to navigate through ambiguous situations to advance project progress under tight deadlines.#LI-NS1
