Purpose of the Job

Lead the planning, design, development, deployment and support of Collaborative applications, including Analytics and Automation to drive business improvements.

Partner with business to identify opportunities and challenges, applying technology to deliver business values.

Key Accountabilities

Business Partnership and Needs Definition – Manage effort in defining and gathering the business entity’s needs in the area of information system solutions to drive value and impact Solution Design – Manage creation of the detailed IT solution/service design, based on the functional specifications, to meet performance requirements and technical constraints. Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of service Solution Development – Manage the activities to develop, build, configure, customise, integrate and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements Solution Testing – Manage effort in testing and debugging and documenting application. Validate that the solutions meet quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements Solution Deployment - Lead implementation of application by analysing the current system environment, using technical tools and utilities, performing complex product customization, and developing implementation and verification procedures to ensure successful installation of systems hardware/software Solution Maintenance – Manage efforts towards planning all activities associated with maintenance and ongoing support of the application, including third-party support management Asset & Configuration Management - Manage configurations and ensure other IT components needed to deliver the applications and solutions are identified, accounted, reported, verified and audited Project Management – Manage effort toward planning, estimating, reporting, scheduling, and resource management for projects and change enhancements. Estimate & complete financial model (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon, etc.) Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong partnerships with the business and application owners and other IT managers. Work with business management to identify and prioritise application support needs, issues and development projects.  Supplier Relationship Management - Work closely with the Solution Delivery Manager on sourcing to ensure best possible contractual terms, to develop and maintain a quality-driven preferred supplier list To comply with Company’s policies and Code of Conduct and Business Ethics (CoBE) Other duties and projects may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Education Any Bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline Experience 5+ Years’ proven solution design experience within a complex, growing, multi-site, multi- system/application environment 3+ experience in Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint and Dot Net Experience in business partnering with key functions within the organization, proficient in translating business needs into technology requirements for IT implementation Experience in project management - strong track record of on-time, on-budget and to-specification delivery of projects Experience in Analytics and Automation preferred Experience in CMS and CRM technologies will be added advantage Experience of IT applications and systems used in the shipping industry preferred Experience working within operating budgets cost centers, and the procurement process Specialized Knowledge Strong and up to date technical/functional understanding of application architecture best practices Knowledge of end-to-end solution development process primarily in an enterprise custom applications environment Knowledge of business processes and their linkage to technology Strong knowledge of project management concepts, Knowledge of testing methodologies and standards Understanding of automated test tools Knowledge of Quality Standards and Procedures Skills and Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support a diverse range of users Intellectual curiosity, with a willingness to learn with our business Attitude to strive for constant improvement in technical systems and processes Creative and efficient problem-solving skills Strong self-organization skills, capable of taking accountability and responsibility of deliverables
