Make an Impact by:

New Business Generation

Engage business development with customers aligned with Singtel 5G strategies to drive new growth areas, acquiring new businesses, new customers and profitable business. Lead virtual teams across various key internal stakeholders to bring together and explore viable solutions and appropriate response to tender/RFI/RFQ/CFC requirements. Working with various internal teams to formulate value propositions and product positioning to create differentiations. Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness and accelerate adoption. Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners to develop new opportunities, joint business plans and value propositions. Contribute to our business development and marketing strategies by being a participant in quarterly, annual and ad hoc planning discussions.


Market Development/Thought Leadership

Keep abreast of key trends affecting the business – new development in the government sector, progress of commercial enterprises and development in the market environment specific to certain vertical industries. Must possess a strong intellectual curiosity and desire to understand and solve client pain points. Possesses strong critical reasoning skills; Able to provide meaningful, well-reasoned critiques and suggestions on the direction of a variety of initiatives.

Skills for Success:

A recognised degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Computer Science. At least 5-8 years of working experience in Telco/ICT industry. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to formulate, write and succinctly communicate our value, strategy and proposed solution on client opportunities. Technical and/or operational background with experience managing projects. Self-motivated, independent and a positive attitude. Strategic, independent and critical thinking. Meticulous and responsible with strong analytical, organisational and multi-tasking skills. Ability to work well under stressful situations with tight timelines. Able to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization. Customer-oriented personality and good team player, strong work ethic, results-oriented, flexible, patient and adaptable; persuasive and diplomatic.
