Business Development Manager - IP SEA Your tasks Industrial Partnership - (Abbreviations used: MTB: Machine Tool Builder ; CTM: Cutting Tool Manufacturer)
- Strengthening the bond with MTB organizations at all levels in SEA.
- Fetching the information in-time on new machine arrivals at customers’ end with the help of known industrial partners. (lead generation).
- Overall responsibility to ensure that the leads for new machines are converted in favour of Blaser Swisslube with business regularisation.
- Managing the metal working fluid requirement of MTBs’ and CTMs’ Technology Centers in SEA markets and ensuring trouble free running of all machines from metal working fluids’ perspective.
- Partnerships at new Technology Centers of MTBs/ CTMs which are either using competitor’s products or are newly built.
- Prepare and maintain the networking matrix of people working across the Machine Tool Industry.
- Probing and recruiting new machine projects running in metal working industry in association with MTBs/ CTMs.
- Managing and promoting the Voucher Program / Partnership program with the MTBs in order to gain momentum in recruiting more and more new machines. It would also include selling through MTB / MTD along with their new machines.
- Overall responsibility of planning, preparing and executing the events like Open House, Joint Seminars, Exhibition etc. (with MTB/ CTM Tech centers).
- Organizing the trainings for the MTBs’ sales, service and application team members for their better understanding on Blaser Swisslube proposition.
- Preparing the required documents for MTB representatives (for Blaser Swisslube related communication with customers).
- Arrange the recommendations and approvals from MTBs for recruiting new machine projects.
- Meeting and delivering the customized presentations to MTB and CTM representatives at all levels at all possible locations in SEA markets in order to uplift their perception about the Blaser Swisslube and right metal working fluids.
- With the help of our holistic approach, try to make their (MTBs’) machines more competitive with better Return On Investment and better productivity for customers.
- Market mapping & analysis.
- Drive these initiatives by engaging Blaser Sales team and Business Partners in SEA.
- Manage all activities in CRM with high quality.
- Work on Vital Parameters execution.
- Develop long-term loyalty and enthusiastic Industrial Partners. Focused applications & Industry (Example Grinding & Semicon)
- Market Mapping & Analysis in CRM.
- Identify and build relations with Industrial Partners and OEM’s.
- Acquire knowledge and train Sales Engineer(s) & Business Partners.
- Development of the territory and share of business.
- Recruit customers by providing the value proposition based upon liquidtool using 4 step sales process.( together with Sales Engineer & Business Partners).
- Conducting Tests and generating successful reports with LTA.
- Multiply the success.

Liquid Tool – Our way of life Your profile 8 – 12 years of experience as sales & application function in Metal cutting industry in SEA, preferably Machine Tools or cutting tools. Experience / knowledge in Grinding application (abrasive, tool grinding, component grinding) would be helpful. Knowledge of Electronic segment (Semicon) in SEA will be an added advantage. Leading industry field projects / implementation of projects. Customer contact on multiple levels (especially in Japanese companies). Experience in developing business with Japanese customers. Experience in conducting customer events like Seminars, Road shows, exhibitions etc. Engineering technical education (mechanical / production). Management skills with collaborative and result oriented approach. Good communication skills. Good interpersonal skills. Must contribute to higher team bonding within West Asia considering cross cultural requirements. Fluent in English. Additionally Japanese language would be an added advantage. High degree of travel (> 50%), Willingness to travel extensively within SEA. Good working experience with microsoft tools (Power Point, Excel, word, etc.).
